PRIMACORD® is a universal high-explosive tool used for a wide variety of mission profiles and applications and is used to create explosive effects and build reliable explosive charges. It is initiated with military or commercial blasting caps of No. 8 or No. 12 strength, or via other stimuli, detonating along its entire length at a velocity of approximately 23,000 feet (7,000 meters) per second for near instantaneous results.
